A special kind of circular hike.
The aim of a ridge hike is to stay at the top where the view is most beautiful for as long as possible. A peak feeling that lasts for hours. Enjoy the breathtaking, top-class panorama together and experience the amazingly diverse flora in the rugged mountain world. Two striking mountain ranges extend northeast from Lake Thun. The Sigriswilergrat and the Güggisgrat. The Justistal is deeply cut in between. The group chooses the latter mountain range. And because we start on foot in Habkern, there probably won't be too many like-minded people along the way. At least as far as Niederhorn to the mountain station. But that's at the end. In between there is a varied hike, over peaks and saddles. The long ridge over Gemmenalphorn (2061m), Burgfeldstand (2063m) to Niederhorn (1963m) provides a great backdrop with a view of the high peaks of the Bernese Alps. And because the grass is lush, the ibex probably also graze along the path. A special kind of circular hike with Reini from simply.hiking - the hiking guide for every season.
