Karl der Grosse, Zürich

Film screening and discussion with the Iranian Film Festival Zurich

The documentary film "Nasrin" sheds light on the life and struggle of Nasrin Sotoudeh, a leading Iranian human rights lawyer. Despite constant threats from the authorities, she steadfastly defends the rights of women, children and political prisoners. The film shows not only her professional dedication, but also her personal story and her family - and her courage to continue fighting against injustice even when her own life is in danger. "Nasrin" provides an insight into the political resistance movement in Iran and tells the stories of people fighting for freedom and justice. Afterwards, experts will discuss the film with you. This evening is a special event as part of the 10th Iranian Film Festival, which will take place in Zurich from September 12 to 19, 2024.
