Die dreiteilige Dokumentarserie zeigt, wie in 80 Stunden Handarbeit ein Alphorn entsteht. Auf dem Berner Bauernhof "Knubel" in Eggiwil pflegt die Familie Bachmann dieses alte Handwerk und hält die Tradition lebendig in der ältesten Alphornmacherei der Schweiz.
