Together with others, student Sophie Backsen from the island of Pellworm has filed a complaint with the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe: In her opinion, the 2019 Climate Protection Act passed by the Bundestag violates the Basic Law. In April 2021, "Karlsruhe" announced that parts of the law were unconstitutional.
