Seit ihrer Gründung 1981 lassen I Salonisti bewusst Grenzen zwischen U- und E-Musik, zwischen gewohnt und ungewohnt verschwinden. Weltbekannt wurde das Ensemble als Bordorchester im Film «Titanic». Heute Abend widmen sich I Salonisti unter dem Titel «Back to Hollywood» mitreissender Filmmusik von «Modern Times» über «Casablanca» bis – natürlich – «Titanic».
