Obertonstruktur der Kaulquappe ist eine Modular Synthesizer Band aus Luzern, bestehend aus This Grossmann und Gabriel Ammon. Das Duo hat das Proben und Tüfteln 2012 mit Bodeneffektgeräten, selbstgebauten Instrumenten und einer überschaubaren Zahl an Synthesizern aufgenommen. Seither hat sich ihre Musik weiterentwickelt; an die Stelle der früheren experimentellen Improvisationen sind nun konkrete, songbasierte Sounds mit Einflüssen von Techno, Kraut, Punk, Industrial und Dub getreten. Das Duo ist gelegentlich auch mit mobilem Setup auf Festivalgeländen unterwegs.
