Die Chiesa Nuova in der Altstadt von Locarno ist eine bedeutende Barockkirche aus der Zeit um 1630–1650, erbaut von Cristoforo Orelli. Sie ist bekannt für ihre prunkvolle Stuckdekoration, das große Christophorus-Bild an der Fassade und das geschützte Chorherrenhaus. Hier finden Konzerte der “Costellazione giovani” und der Academy-Reihe statt und sie ist in Fussdistanz zum Hauptspielort Chiesa San Francesco.
