Die fünfte Etappe dieses Jahres ist 218,5 Kilometer lang. Sie beginnt in Opole und endet im Kocierz Resort. Auf die Fahrer warten 2.118 Höhenmeter. Im vergangenen Jahr, als die fünfte Etappe von Katowice nach Zakopane führte, sicherte sich der Brite Matthew Brennan den Tagessieg.
