The trio plays psychedelic jazz-prog-rock based on melodies from children's songs in their often very loud walls of sound made up of drums, Hammond organ and guitar. Hence the band name - Dr.O.G.E, with the E for ensemble and "drug". Dave Gisler on the electric guitar pulls out one of these simple melodies - for example "Frère Jacques" or "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and plays it with a powerful, sustained tone. The dynamic Dominik Blum enriches the melodies with dissonant textures and aggressive grooves on the Hammond organ and finally the powerful drummer Valeria Zangger reacts with full attention to the rhythmic variations of her bandmates.
