Um die Abgründe der Liebe geht es in fast allen Opern Mozarts – doch in keiner so ausschliesslich wie in «Così fan tutte». Dass ihnen ihre Verlobten Dorabella und Fiordiligi treu sind, davon sind Ferrando und Guglielmo überzeugt. Mit Don Alfonso, der ihnen mit einem Experiment das Gegenteil vorführen will, gehen die Männer eine Wette ein. Doch was als harmloses Spiel beginnt, wird zum grausamen Experiment am offenen Herzen … Radikal zeitgenössisch ist die Inszenierung von Kirill Serebrennikov; Roberto González-Monjas, Chefdirigent des Musikkollegiums Winterthur, führt durch Mozarts so brillante wie doppelbödige Partitur.
