Im Rahmen der diesjährigen Zurich Design Weeks präsentieren wir «Wintergarten», eine begehbare Outdoor-Installation zwischen Garten- und Museumseingang. Begleitend zur Eröffnung der Ausstellung «Neubenennen – Menschen, Dinge, Orte» lädt «Wintergarten» dazu ein, Praktiken des Benennens und Kategorisierens im Museum sowie etablierte Formen des Sehens und der Wissensproduktion zu hinterfragen.

As part of Zurich Design Weeks, we present "Wintergarten": a place in between, occupying the threshold between the park entrance and the museum entrance. It is an outdoor walk-on installation set to redirect your gaze. The project accompanies the opening phase of the exhibition "Renaming – People, Things, Places", interrogating the relationship between exhibited objects and viewers, naming and categorising in museums and the ways knowledge is produced in society.
