The Big Comedy Kiss Show with Dan Rath, Pouya and Domenico Carbotta - promising a hilarious and unforgettable night.
Our premier triple headliner night returns. This edition celebrates the blend of international and local talent, headlined by Dan Rath, Pouya and Domenico Carbotta on one stage!
Dan Rath – One of Australia’s most original and unpredictable comedic voices, Dan has become a festival favourite thanks to his unmistakable blend of existential absurdism, tightly-wound delivery, and dark, neurotic punchlines. His 2025 show “Tropical Depression” won both Best of the Fest at the Sydney Comedy Festival and the Director’s Choice Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival — cementing him as one of the most exciting alternative comedians on the scene.
Previously, his critically acclaimed show “All Quiet Carriage Along the Inner Western Line” earned the MICF’s Piece of Wood Award, a peer-voted honour given by fellow comedians. His debut hour “Bubble Bath” was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, marking him early as a standout talent with a uniquely unhinged comedic mind.
Dan’s style mixes surreal imagery, social commentary, and a distinctive stage presence that blends awkwardness with explosive wit. His material explores anxiety, modern life, and the absurdity of simply trying to function — delivered with a tension-building rhythm that breaks into cathartic laughter. In 2024 he released the special “I’m Not Doing Well Folks” with 800 Pound Gorilla, introducing global audiences to his off-kilter brilliance.
He has performed across Australia’s biggest festivals, toured internationally, and built a cult following of fans drawn to his raw honesty, narrative chaos, and unmatched comedic voice.
Pouya JK - Pouya lives in his cartoon world, purposefully misunderstanding things for laughs. Originally from Iran, he moved to Switzerland at 15. Not speaking the language, he entertained himself with quirky observations, giving him a unique perspective on both cultures and their stereotypes.
Domenico Carbotta - Domenico started doing comedy a year ago, during one of his many mid-life crises. The crisis hasn't finished yet, so you're still on time to see him perform! Discover what lies behind all the Italian stereotypes — even more stereotypes?
