Trudging through crackling snow and reading wildlife tracks

Trudging through the crackling snow and reading the tracks of wild animals - on this snowshoe hike you will learn more about the local fauna and find out what safe and considerate touring in winter means. The tour takes snowshoe hikers from Kronberg/AI to Schwägalp/AR through the beautiful winter landscape of the Appenzellerland. From hiking and snowshoe leader Léonie van de Vijfeijken you will find out who is out and about in winter and why the animals depend on our consideration. You will also learn how to prepare for a tour in winter and snow and how to move safely in the terrain. The snowshoe tour is aimed at adults and children aged 10 and over with normal fitness.
