For young and old: blacksmithing, building water wheels and much more!
On this year's Swiss Mill Day, a varied program awaits young and old at Museum Neuthal. Small works of art can be forged in the workshop, where hammers were used as early as the 19th century. Children build their own water wheels and use them to generate electricity. The entire historic hydroelectric power plant can be seen in operation and the other areas in the factory building that were once powered by water power are also waiting to be explored.
